The short version: play Wordpup for fun, be kind in the dares you send, and know that Plus is a one-time purchase handled by Apple.

Using Wordpup

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Wordpup app and the web dare player for your own enjoyment. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to break any law.

Wordpup Plus

Plus is a one-time, non-subscription purchase sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, Family Sharing, refunds and restores under its own terms. If Apple refunds a purchase, the Plus extras lock again; everything you earned by playing stays.

Friend dares

A dare is a link you choose to share. Scores are compared on each player's own device, so a dare is a friendly game, not a verified contest — there are no prizes. Only put a first name you're happy to share on a dare, and never someone else's details.

Words and content

Wordpup's word lists and spelling questions are reviewed, but no list is perfect. If you think we got a word wrong, report it in the app; a person reviews reports every week, though we can't promise every word will be changed. See the word rules.

No warranty

Wordpup is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your progress safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, PLAYRIOT LLC's total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for Wordpup Plus.

Privacy

How your data is handled is in the privacy policy. In short: no account, no ads, no tracking.
